    • PURPOSE: A flame retardant polypropylene resin composition is provided, to improve the flame retardancy and the mechanical strength by adding poly(ammonium phosphate), 1,3,5-triazine derivative and a synthetic silica. CONSTITUTION: The flame retardant polypropylene resin composition comprises 33-79.8 wt% of a polypropylene-based resin; 15-30 wt% of a poly(ammonium phosphate); 2-12 wt% of 1,3,5-triazine derivative; 3-15 wt% of a synthetic silica; and 0.2-10 wt% of a crosslinking agent. Preferably the polypropylene-based resin is a homopolymer, an impact copolymer or their mixture, and has a melting flow index of 0.1-40 g/10 min. The purity of silicon dioxide in the synthetic silica is 99.8% or more. The 1,3,5-triazine derivative is represented by the formula 1, wherein X is a morpholino group or a piperazino group; Y is a piperazine group; m is 1 or 2; and n is an integer of 1-50.
