    • The present invention relates to a pouch-type secondary battery. The pouch-type secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly in which at least one anode and at least one cathode are stacked alternately, at least one separation film is placed on each of the both surfaces of the anode and the cathode, and an anode tap and a cathode tap are attached to the anode and the cathode, respectively; a pouch-type battery case which includes a storage unit which is made up of an upper pouch film and a lower pouch film and stores the electrode assembly between the upper and the lower pouch film and a sealing unit to which the upper and the lower pouch film are extended and attached from the storage unit; and an electrode lead which is formed at the upper end or at both the upper and the lower end of the pouch-type battery case and from which the anode tap and the cathode tap of the electrode assembly are withdrawn. From the end at which the electrode lead is formed, both ends of the sealing unit are taped with insulation tape. The insulation tape is taped on both sides of the sealing unit while covering the end of the sealing unit in the longitudinal direction of the sealing unit and is folded into two sections, one inside the sealing unit close to the storage unit and the other outside the sealing unit including the end of the sealing unit. The end of the insulation tape which is taped on one surface of the sealing unit exposed to the outside by being folded is placed outside the sealing unit.
