    • PURPOSE: A contact type heating device for local reinforcement and a heating method thereof are provided to reinforce locally a plate material by forming a metal pattern on a heating source contacted with a local region of the plate material. CONSTITUTION: A local heating operation is performed by contacting directly a heating source(10) with a plate material(300). A metal pattern(12) is formed on a predetermined portion of the plate material(300) contacted with the heating source(10). The heating source(10) has a basic material(11) which is formed by using a raw material having an excellent adiabatic characteristic. The basic material(11) has the metal pattern(12) in order to generate heat when the basic material(11) is contacted with the plate material(300). A heating coil is formed in the inside of the metal pattern(12).

The front end of the plate member(5) is interposed between the blank holder(9) and the holder die(7). In addition, a molding die(13) having a shape identical to an article is installed at an inner portion of the relief die(11).

The hydraulic circuit comprises a fluid storage part, a fluid supply part, a fluid return part, and a hydraulic pipe. The hydraulic circuit guides an incompressible fluid to flow into a pipe(30). The hydraulic relief valve is connected with the hydraulic circuit and one end of the pipe. The hydraulic relief valve controls the pressure of the incompressible fluid flowing into the pipe. The hydraulic maintenance unit prevents the leakage of the fluid in the pipe and maintains the hydraulic pressure generated in the pipe.
