    • Provided are a method for manufacturing tin oxide for use as a gas sensor by thermally decomposing a tin oxide precursor in a short period of time and a gas sensor for vehicles using the same. A method for preparing tin oxide includes the steps of: producing porous tin oxide powder in the nano-rod form by pyrolysis of tin oxalate. The pyrolysis of tin oxalate is performed by increasing temperature from room temperature at a rate of 20 to 100°C/min. The pyrolysis is performed by calcination of microwave. The tin oxide precursor is tin oxalate precipitation obtained by reacting a halogenated tin compound and oxalic acid or a derivative thereof in an aqueous reaction medium. The obtained tin oxide shows rapid CO response time.

    • PURPOSE: A tool for checking refrigerant of an air conditioner is provided to minimize loss of refrigerant due to checking whether refrigerant is charged. CONSTITUTION: A tool is joined to a nipple part formed to charge refrigerant in a refrigerant line of an air conditioner, and comprises an examination body(20) covering the nipple part, and has a first space part(S1), a second space part(S2) and a third space part(S3) formed therein; a fixing unit(22) fixing the examination body to the nipple part; an observation unit(24) allowing an inspector to observe charged state of refrigerant; and an operating rod(26) joined to the examination body to operate a valve of the nipple part. The observation unit includes a cylinder(36) joined to be connected with the first space part of the examination body; a piston(38) built in the cylinder to be moved by pressure of refrigerant; a third spring(40) joined to a side of the piston opposite to the other side of the piston on which pressure of refrigerant acts to give dynamic stability to the piston; and an observation window(42) formed on one side of the cylinder to allow the inspector to observe movement of the piston.
