    • PURPOSE: A high-pressure transfer pipe for concrete and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain high tensile strength and hardness through effective quenching and tempering using thermally treated medium-carbon steel. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a high-pressure transfer pipe for concrete is as follows. A thermally treated medium-carbon steel material is slit to the outer diameter of a pressure transfer pipe to form a roll-type skelp. The roll-type skelp is unrolled while controlling flatness and grinding edges. The skelp is formed into a pipe shape using a multi-stage roll. Both edges of the skelp are welded and a pressure transfer pipe is obtained. The pressure transfer pipe is thermally treated to have a tempered martensidte structure suitable for high-pressure transfer of concrete at 300bar.
