    • PURPOSE: An application service based service quality providing method is provided to offer an application service based QoS(Quality of Service) for user traffic in a router including a classification function. CONSTITUTION: When the packet of user traffic is inputted to a packet interface(S602), a packet capturing unit captures the packet and transmits the packet to a packet analysis unit. The packet analysis unit inspects an application service and the fifth-tuple information of the packet by analyzing the IP(Internet Protocol) header information and the inner payload of the packet. When a service flow session corresponding to the fifth tuple information of the packet is not existed, a flow session management unit confirms the existence of QoS information according to the application service of the corresponding packet.     • PURPOSE: A method for providing direct communication in an IP(Internet Protocol) network is provided to enable the direction communication between P2N(Peer-to-Network), P2P(Peer-to-Peer) or an N2N(Network-to-Network) in an IP network. CONSTITUTION: A peer node(P1) requests its own virtual address to a server(100), and the server receives a virtual address request message. The server receives a virtual address request message, and searches the virtual address corresponding to the ID of the peer node(S306). The server includes the searched virtual address in the virtual address response message for the virtual address request message. The server transfers the virtual address response message to the peer node, and the peer node sets up the virtual address included in the virtual address response message to the tunnel interface(S310).

    • A packet transmission method of a portable terminal which supports multiple network interfaces is provided to be capable of transmitting packets to a remote node which is not directly connected, through another network interface except a network interface set as a basic path, thus packet transmission can be performed without changing the basic path. When packet transmission is attempted to a network interface, a socket for transmitting packets is generated(S201,S202). If an option of the socket is set and associated with the network interface, 2-layer destination address of the packets is set to the 2-layer address of a basic router(S203-S205). If the packets are transmitted to the 2-layer address of the basic router of the packets by using the socket, the socket is terminated(S206,S207).
