    • The present invention relates to a freeze protection valve using a temperature detection unit, and, more specifically, to the freeze protection valve having an outlet which is opened or closed when the length of a bellows tube is contracted or extended by the volume change of a phase change material. The present invention provides the freeze protection valve being connected to the piping port of a flow pipe in which fluid flows and discharging the fluid to outside when ambient temperature drops below a certain level, wherein the freeze protection valve comprises: a valve body having at least one outlet, having a first and a second housing chamber inside, and being connected to the piping port; the temperature detection unit being placed in the second housing chamber and having the bellows tube of which the length is contracted or extended by the volume change of the phase change material; and a plunger part moving when the bellows tube is contracted or extended so that the fluid flowing into the first housing chamber is discharged to outside through the outlet.
