    • PURPOSE: A fly-attracting agent containing a yeast extract, ammonium carbonate and sugar and a trap for catching flies containing the same are provided, which comprise using their instinctive habit to easily catch flies and reduce equipment cost and labor power by the simple structure. CONSTITUTION: The fly-attracting agent contains 15 to 20 parts by weight of yeast extract powder, 5 parts by weight of ammonium carbonate and 10 parts by weight of sugar, based on 100 parts by weight of water.     • PURPOSE: A method of producing a microorganism preparation containing an antagonistic microorganism capable of being used as a means for controlling plant disease is provided. The product enhances the viability of strains during the storage period and extends the shelf life of microorganism strains for the storage period when used as microbial pesticides. CONSTITUTION: The microorganism preparation is prepared by the following process consisting of: preparing an oil phase by dissolving 0.5 to 1.0% by weight of hydrophobic emulsifiers in water-insoluble materials, based on the total weight of oil phases; preparing a water-in-oil emulsion by emulsifying microorganism culture liquid in the oil phase; preparing an external aqueous phase by dissolving water-soluble polymer materials and hydrophilic emulsifiers in distilled water; and emulsifying the water-in-oil emulsion in the external aqueous phase. The hydrophobic emulsifiers have an HLB value of 1 to 7. The water-insoluble materials are selected from the group consisting of mineral oil, vegetable oil and a mixture thereof.

    • PURPOSE: Provided are a natural insecticidal soap having excellent controlling effect to various insects, a method for producing the same, and a method for killing insects by using the same. CONSTITUTION: The insecticidal soap comprises, as active ingredient, a saponified reactant of fatty acid having C8-C18. The fatty acid is at least one selected from the group consisting of caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid, as well as mixture thereof. The method comprises the steps of (i) dissolving potassium hydroxide and adding ethanol to the solution to obtain a mixed solution; (ii) adding a fatty acid of C8-C18 to the mixed solution, and saponifying the solution to obtain a saponified reactant solution; and (iii) further adding oleic acid, triton X-100 or tween-80, sodium sulfate, sodium alginate, and xanthan gum to the saponified reactant solution.

CONSTITUTION: The microorganism Trichoderma harzianum GBF-0208 useful for inhibition of breed and growth of Brown patch, Large patch, Pythium blight, Southern blight, Black rot and Rhizoctonia root rot is isolated from the soil by collecting soils from various regions; suspending the collected soil samples into a sterilized saline solution; inoculating the suspended samples into a minimal agar medium containing 7g of dipotassium phosphate, 2g of monopotassium phosphate, 0.5g of sodium citrate, 0.1g of magnesium sulfate, 1g of ammonium sulfate, 5g of glucose and 15g of agar in 1 liter of distilled water; culturing the medium and isolating colonies; inoculating the colonies into 12 plant fungal pathogenic bacteria by using a dual plating method; and selecting a microorganism showing the highest growth inhibition activity.
