    • According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is an implantable in vivo sensor for monitoring a glial scar, wherein the sensor senses a nerve regeneration inhibitor which forms a glial scar. The sensor includes a substrate and a sensor array which is disposed on the substrate. The sensor array includes a sensor unit which is disposed on the substrate and a cover which prevents the nerve regeneration inhibitor from coming in contact with the sensor unit by covering the sensor unit. The cover makes the nerve regeneration inhibitor come in contact with the sensor unit by being opened when predetermined time passes after the sensor is inserted into a living body. The sensor senses a glial scar by sensing the nerve regeneration inhibitor which comes in contact with the sensor unit.
