    • A varistor element is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by not installing a mark for identifying a mounting direction of the varistor element. A varistor element includes a varistor body(11), a couple of internal electrodes(21,31), a connection conductor(41), and a plurality of terminal electrodes. The varistor body(11) has a first main plane and a second main plane which are opposite to each other. The plurality of internal electrodes(21,31) has first and second internal electrodes which are arranged in the varistor body(11) so that at least parts are opposite to each other. The connection conductor(41) is arranged on the first main plane to connect the first internal electrodes of the plurality of internal electrodes(21,31). The plurality of terminal electrodes are installed to correspond to the second internal electrode of the plurality of internal electrodes, and are installed on the second main plane to be electrically connected to the second internal electrode.

    • A low-pass filter and a low-pass filter array are provided to improve mounting density and to obtain an ESD(Electro Static Discharge) protecting function by realizing the low-pass filter array as one chip. A low-pass filter(F1) includes a condenser unit(1), first and second varistors, a resistor, and first or third outer electrodes. The condenser unit(1) has a dielectric substance(10) and a first or a third inner electrode. The dielectric substance(10) has a first surface(1a) and a second surface(1b) to face each other. The first or the third inner electrode is arranged inside the dielectric substance(10). The first and second varistors are arranged on the first surface. The resistor is arranged on the first surface. The first or the third outer electrode is arranged on the second surface. The first inner electrode is physically and electrically connected to the third outer electrode and is arranged to extend in a parallel direction of an opposite direction of the first and second surfaces. The third inner electrode is physically and electrically connected to the first outer electrode and is arranged to be opposite to the first inner electrode by putting a part of the third inner electrode into a part of the dielectric substance(10). The first varistor is connected to a condenser formed by the first and third inner electrodes in parallel. The second varistor is connected to a condenser formed by the first inner electrode and a second inner electrode in parallel. The resistor is electrically connected to the second and third inner electrodes.
