    • PURPOSE: A composition for a flame retardant transparent light shaft board is provided to ensure excellent transparency and mechanical properties by comprising a cyclic phosphonate ester compound or a mixture thereof as a flame retardant. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a flame retardant transparent light shaft board comprises an unsaturated polyester resin, hardener, curing accelerator, reinforcing material and flame retardant. A cyclic phosphonate ester compound or a compound thereof is included as the flame retardant. The hardener is one or more selected from the group consisting of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, cyclohexanone peroxide, benzoyl peroxide and t-butylperoxybenzoate. The reinforcing material is glass fiber.

    • A side edge removal method for lighting board is provided to prevent marks generated by cutting the side to remove the side edge and to maintain uniform thickness of the lighting board. A side edge removal method for lighting board is as follows. A supporting member is placed on the top of a bottom film(10) so that a side part is formed by folding both ends of the bottom film in the longitudinal direction. The bottom film is folded up about one side of the supporting member. The bottom film on which resin and glass fiber are successively coated is passed beneath a thickness regulating device(40) which is perpendicular to the bottom film, thereby making the thickness of the bottom film uniform. The folded side parts are cut by a cutting machine so as to protrude than the upper surface of the bottom film. A pressure is applied in order to bend the side parts inward and a top film(70) covers the upper side of the bottom film.
