    • PURPOSE: A hood control system of an automatic fire extinguisher device and a method thereof are provided to sense a gas leakage efficiently by blocking an operation of a hood and a gas supply by controlling a ventilation system and a gas circuit breaker when judging as a gas leakage state. CONSTITUTION: A hood control system of an automatic fire extinguisher device comprises a gas leakage sensing unit (120), a gas circuit breaker (130), a ventilation unit (140), and a control unit (200). The gas leakage sensing unit sense a leakage of a gas supplied from a gas service pipe. The gas circuit breaker opens and closes a gas supply of the gas service pipe. The ventilation unit ejects an indoor air through a hood to an outdoor. The control unit determines whether a gas is leaking or not based on a sensing signal from the gas leakage sensing unit. When determining as a gas leakage state, the control unit blocks a gas supply by controlling the gas circuit breaker, and blocks an operation of the hood by controlling the ventilation unit.
