    • PURPOSE: A high concentration magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) slurry produced from seawater unlike conventional Mg(OH)2 slurry is provided, which has high purity, high neutralization efficiency and good carriage and storage. The resultant slurry is used as neutralizer, desulfurizer and red tide preventer. CONSTITUTION: The magnesium hydroxide slurry is produced by the following steps of: adding Ca(OH)2 and NaOH to seawater to get Mg(OH)2 cakes from Mg2+ ions in seawater; adding water to get Mg(OH)2 slurry containing 40-50wt.% of Mg(OH)2; adding 0.2-1.4wt.% of dispersant comprising acrylate monomer, water and NaOH in a weight ratio of 40 : 55 : 5 to be Mg(OH)2 slurry having a viscosity of 80-150cp. The resultant Mg(OH)2 slurry has high purity and fine Mg(OH)2 particles of 2.5micrometer size.

    • PURPOSE: A nozzle removing device is provided to enhance working efficiency by easily removing a nozzle with a simple operation, protect a shell through the removing of the nozzle and the reusing of a pressing-in hole and reduce cost and time to form another pressing-in hole. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle removing device comprises a protecting pipe(200), a hanging body and a hitting body(500). The protecting pipe comprises a stopper(210) with a raised part and an inner space with both openings. The hanging body passes through the inner space of the protecting pipe and comprises tongs(110), which are inserted into the inlet of the nozzle and hangs on a protrusion. The hitting body comprises a through hole. The protecting pipe is inserted into the through hole so that the hitting body slides along the outer surface of the protecting pipe. The tongs consists of one or more holding bars(112), which have externally protruded holding parts.
