    • PURPOSE: A molten metal spray nozzle is provided to minimize deviation of thickness of a strip to have a uniform thickness in the manufacture of a wide strip and to keep a uniform amount of molten metal spray in case of thermal deformation of a nozzle to minimize deviation of thickness. CONSTITUTION: A molten metal spray nozzle forms a slit(12) where molten metal passes through from the top to the bottom. The slit includes a top inlet into which molten metal is injected; a spray slit from which molten metal is sprayed; and an inner wall which connects the inlet and the spray slit. The width of the spray slit gets greater as the distance from the center gets further. Each end of the spray slit has a circular arc form. Each width direction end of the spray slit is curved in a circular arc form along the longitudinal direction. In the nozzle, at least one guide plate which guides part of molten metal injected into the center part of the slit to either end part is included. The guide plate is tilted towards the end part of the spray slit from the center part of the inlet. The guide plate is installed between inner walls facing each other in the slit width direction and extended from the inlet towards the spray slit.

CONSTITUTION: A nozzle(100) for a PFC(Planar Flow Casting) process comprises a housing unit(101) and a slit part(102). Molten steel is discharged and putted through a discharge plane(113) and a pouring plane(111). The slit part is formed by being penetrated through a housing unit. The slit part connects the pouring plane and the discharge plane. A space(S) of the slit portion at the side of the discharge plane is gradually wide from a center portion(121) to both end portions.
