    • PURPOSE: A ramming refractory for covering blast furnace is provided for maintaining high corrosion resistance against melted iron and slag by recirculation of waste refractory and production of ramming refractory. CONSTITUTION: A ramming refractory for covering blast furnace comprises Al2O3-SiC-C waste refractory containing at least 60 wt.% of alumina based on total weight percent of composition. The ramming refractory consists of 10-15 wt.% of the waste refractory having particle size of 10-5mm, 20-30 wt.% of the waste refractory having particle size of 5-3mm, 15-20 wt,% of the waste refractory having particle size of 3-1mm, and 20-25 wt.% of the waste refractory having particle size of 1mm or less. Also, the ramming refractory is produced by recirculating the waste refractory by directly using all of broken waste refractory as aggregates and mixing them.

    • PURPOSE: A refractory for repairing damaged hot iron runner of blast furnace rapidly is provided, which are excellent in attachment, corrosion-resistance and strength by using fused alumina as a main material and excluding water unlike a conventional repairing refractory. CONSTITUTION: The repairing refractory comprises 5-10wt.% of fused alumina, containing more than 90wt.% of alumina, being 1-3mm in size, 25-35wt.% of fused alumina being 0.5-1mm, 10-15wt.% of fused alumina less than 0.044mm, 7-15wt.% of SiC, being 0.074mm in size and 80 % in purity, to increase corrosion-resistance, 7-13wt.% of calcined alumina less than 0.044mm, 7-10wt.% of clay, 3-6wt.% of borax, 3-5wt.% of Si and 5-7wt.% of ferro silicon nitride to accelerate sintering, 5-10wt.% of pitch, and 5wt.% of phenol resin as a binder.
