    • PURPOSE: A measuring instrument is provided which prevents defects of steel billet according to flow rate and temperature of molten steel in a mold not only by excluding uncertainty of the measurement results but also by easily measuring the flow rate and the temperature of the molten steel. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring flow rate and temperature of molten steel in a mold comprises a lower frame (110) which is equipped with a transfer means (111) on the bottom surface and an adjusting bolt (112) at the end part of the lower frame for enabling the elevation and horizontal adjustment; a side frame vertically linked to the lower frame; a pulley integrally coupled to a rotation axis (140) which is linked to the side frame so that it is rotated by being interlocked to a driver (130) coupled to the side frame; an arm (150) which is linked to the side frame, closely contacted with the pulley and expanded to the outer side of the side frame, wherein the arm is freely moved left and right through the medium of a bearing; a guide (170) which is fixed to the bearing, and coupled to a groove installed at the arm by a key so as to control rotation of the arm; a cylinder which is fixed to the lower frame, and a rod of which is coupled to the bearing; a flow rate measuring unit the upper part of which is coupled to the arm, at the lower part of which a refractory material to be inserted into molten steel is installed, and between the upper and lower parts of which a load cell sensing flow of the refractory material is installed; a temperature measuring unit the upper part of which is fixed to the arm, and at the lower part of which a thermocouple covered with a refractory material is installed; and a data collecting unit which is electrically connected to the measuring units so as to amplify signals of the measuring units, thereby collecting data.

    • PURPOSE: An automatic adjuster of tension and meandering of a belt conveyor is provided to transfer the belt conveyor stably, and to prevent accidents by restricting damage of the belt conveyor side and overload with automatically controlling tension and meandering. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tension and meandering control system is composed of a compression unit having a tension adjusting roll(22) installed widthwise at both sides of a belt conveyor(3) and elastically contacted to the belt conveyor with turning; a detecting unit having a sensing roll(32) between the compression unit, and transmitting a tension adjusting signal to a control unit in pressing the compression unit to the belt conveyor and a meandering adjusting signal in turning a meandering adjusting roll(39); the control unit adjusting an operation unit through a control box(41); and the operation unit moving a bearing block(5) by rotating a screw sprocket(55) with a motor(51). The belt conveyor is transferred stably by restricting the damage or overload.
