    • A method for providing an emergency call service in a broadband convergence network is provided to extract the location information of an IP terminal, search information about an agency nearest to the location of the IP terminal, and make a call between the IP terminal and an agency IP terminal, thereby providing the emergency call service to the IP terminal on the basis of the geographical location of the IP terminal using an IP address.
