    • An LVDT(Linear Variable Differential Transformer) signal converter using an ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit) is provided to achieve a convenient LVDT by automatically performing all control through a microprocessor connected to the ASIC. An LVDT signal converter using an ASIC(110) includes an excitation unit(100) and a signal amplifying unit(200). The excitation unit receives a control signal from a CPU(Central Processing Unit) and generates a sine wave by being connected to a first side of an LVDT(300). The excitation unit includes the ASIC and a filter unit(120). The ASIC receives the control signal from the CPU with software for storing an application value according to the characteristic of the LVDT and generates an excitation frequency and a reference frequency. The filter unit generates the sine wave by filtering the excitation frequency and the reference frequency with the same frequency as the excitation frequency. The signal amplifying unit receives a signal generated from a second side of the LVDT and generates a displacement signal.
