    • PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and its driving method are provided which integrate a driver applying a scan voltage and a driver applying a sustain voltage into one board. CONSTITUTION: A panel part(51) has the first electrode(57a) and the second electrode(57b) formed along one direction in a pair, and has the third electrode(57c) formed along a direction crossing with the electrodes, and displays images through discharge between electrodes. The first driver(53) applies a driving pulse including a pulse for initializing the whole cell and a pulse for sustain discharge to the panel part. And the second driver(55) applies a data pulse to the panel part. One end of the second electrode is connected to a ground(GND).

CONSTITUTION: A gas exhaust apparatus comprises a chamber(100) having a support(101) for supporting a flat display panel(50), a heater(102) for generating heat required for emission of impurity from the material constituting the interior of the panel, and a first through hole(103) and a second through hole(104); a first pressure adjusting unit(110) coupled to the first through hole of the chamber, and which adjusts pressure of the chamber; a second pressure adjusting unit(120) coupled to the second through hole of the chamber, and which adjusts pressure in the flat display panel; and a control unit for controlling gas exhaust and injection operation through the first and second pressure adjusting units, at the state where the pressure in the flat display panel is set higher than the pressure in the chamber.

CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for forming a barrier rib of a plasma display panel using ice is formed with a compressed air supplier(51), an ICE generator(52), and an ice nozzle(53). The ice generator(52) is combined with the ice nozzle(53) by a pipe(P1). A chamber(CH) is combined with a dust absorber(54) by a pipe(P2). The ice nozzle(53) is located within the chamber(CH). The ice nozzle(53) faces an external part of a barrier rib pattern region of a lower glass. A barrier rib paste is polished by injecting the ice to the external part of the barrier rib pattern region according to a movement of a moving table(55). The dust absorber(54) is used for absorbing powder components through the pipe(P2).
