    • PURPOSE: A vehicle plastic seat back frame panel with application of a glass fiber-reinforced composite material by an injection molding method is provided to prevent breakage of a seat back frame caused by impact of goods by optimizing the thickness and shape of a seat back frame panel part and prevent breakage of the seat back frame by inserting steel inert components into hinge and latch parts to reinforce the most fragile part. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle plastic seat back frame panel with application of a glass fiber-reinforced composite material by an injection molding method has an I-shaped steel flange nut(24) to a hinge-combining part and a steel insert component to a latch-combining part. An edge part(21) of the seat back frame panel forms a U-shaped section with thickness of 2.0¯6.0 mm and height of 20¯60 mm. A rib(22) is installed into the U-shaped section, to support the strength and prevent deformation. The general thickness of the seat back frame panel is 2.0¯6.0 mm. The rib has thickness of 1.5¯6.0 mm and height of 10¯50 mm.

The breaking seam(12) is formed by applying a laser beam to the rear surface of the dash board(10) after the dash board(10) is fabricated. The breaking seam(12) forms an outer line of the air bag door(11). As an air bag is expanded, the air bag door(11) is outwardly pressed, so that the breaking seam(12) formed at the rear surface of the dash board(10) is broken. Thus, the air bag door(11) is separated from the dash board(10), thereby opening the air bag door(11).
