    • A method for manufacturing N-substituted maleimides is provided to inhibit the cause of side reaction during the synthesis process by using supported catalyst. A method for manufacturing N-substituted maleimides comprises a step of adding primary amine and anhydrous maleic acid under the presence of supported catalyst to synthesize the N-substituted maleimides in which an organic phosphonic acid is supported in solid carrier. The synthesis temperature is 100-140°C. The organic phosphonic acid is insoluble with N-substituted maleimide and, whose melting point is over 150 °C. The organic phosphonic acid is selected from 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxyl acid, 2-hydroxy phosphonoacetic acid, amino trimethylene phosphonic acid, 1-hydroxyethylidene-1, 1-diphosphonic acid, bishexamethylene triamine pentamethylene phosphonic acid, ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid and diethylen triamine penta methylene phosphonic acid. The solid carrier is selected from diatomite, zirconium oxide yttrium oxide lineage ceramics, silica, silica-alumina, titanium dioxide, activated carbon, clay and montmorillonite.

    • A purifying method of N-substituted maleimide using silica gel is provided to simplify the purifying method and improve productivity of N-substituted maleimide by removing red impurity. The purifying method comprises: a step of filtering N-substituted maleimide solution through a silica gel column to absorb red impurity on the silica gel column; and a step of going through non-polar solvent on the silica gel column to elute and separate the absorbed N-substituted maleimide from the silica gel column. A purifying N-substituted maleimide is performed under existence of non-polar solvent produced by reaction of maleic acid anhydride and the first amine. The used non-polar solvent is toluene, xylene, benzene, ethyl benzene, cumene, t-butyl benzene, and octane, etc.
