    • A method and an apparatus for preparing gallium nitride crystal powders are provided to promote a nitration reaction and mass-produce commercially available nitride crystal powders with high yield. A method for preparing gallium nitride crystal powders includes the steps of: (a) mixing a gallium source and a mineralizing agent with a liquid ammonia solvent, and subjecting the mixture to nitration reaction under a high-temperature and high-pressure condition to grow gallium nitride crystal powders; and (b) removing an exhaust gas containing hydrogen gas generated during the reaction using an adsorbent. The nitridation is carried out at a reaction temperature of 400-500 °C under a reaction pressure of 1,000-2,000 atm.
