    • The present invention relates to a gate driver having a function of preventing a shoot-through current. The gate driver having a function of preventing a shoot-through current comprises: a first power switch to source a current according to a voltage applied by a voltage source; a second power switch connected in series with the first power switch and sinking the current according to the voltage applied by the voltage source; and a shoot-through current prevention circuit to prevent generation of a shoot-through current in the first and second power switches during driving of the first and second power switches. According to the gate driver of the present invention as above can prevent generation of a shoot-through current in a power transistor of an output terminal during driving of a gate driver by including the shoot-through current prevention circuit consisting of multiple PMOS and NMOS, thereby preventing unnecessary power consumption and generation of ground noise.
