摘要： PURPOSE: A body shape determining method for thermotherapy devices is provided to be used for hyperthermia by figuring out the customized acupuncture points. CONSTITUTION: A body shape determining method for thermotherapy devices comprises the following steps: a first step which operates a hyperthermo-radiation device(110) and scans the entire vertebra of a user; a second step which measures the operation current of a vertical motor(140) and detects the two peak values at the 10th and 24th vertebra from the measured operation of the current curve; a third step which determines the peak values of the 24th vertebra by calculating the cross point of the inclination outskirts extended points of the two detected peak curves of the 24th vertebra; a fourth step which draws the standard data of the vertebra stored in the database and calculates the length of the entire vertebras and each vertebra; and a fifth step which controls the horizontal motor by setting up the length of each vertebra as a control value of the horizontal motor.
