    • Provided is a sodium sulfur battery. The present invention includes a cartridge pipe that holds sodium and has a sodium discharge hole formed in a lower portion to discharge molten sodium; a solid electrolyte pipe that accommodates the cartridge pipe and allows sodium ion passage; a positive electrode container that accommodates the solid electrolyte pipe and sulfur; an insulating member that closes a space between the solid electrolyte pipe and the positive electrode container while bonding an upper portion of the solid electrolyte pipe and an upper portion of the positive electrode container to each other; a negative electrode cover that seals an upper portion of the cartridge pipe and has a sodium injection port formed; a stopper member that blocks the sodium discharge hole; a fixing member that fixes the stopper member to the upper portion of the cartridge pipe; and a bonding member that bonds the stopper member and the fixing member and is melted at an abnormal operation temperature of the sodium sulfur battery.

    • PURPOSE: A friction stir welding apparatus for a backing plate manufacturing method and a backing plate manufacture are provided to prevent damage to a pin of a tool. CONSTITUTION: The backing plate manufacturing method comprises: a step of forming waterway on the backing plate surface; a step of manufacturing the cover installed on waterway; a step of heat the backing plate; and a step of welding friction stir and the backing plate. The heating temperature of the backing plate is 200~700°C. The heating of the backing plate performs the opposite side of the waterway forming surface of the backing plates. The friction stir welding apparatus for the backing plate manufacture is installed on the bed in which the backing plate is placed.

    • A friction stir welding device is provided to uniform the extent of frictional heat applied on the right and left of the welded part based on a welding line by improving the rotational structure of a welding tool. A friction stir welding device(200) comprises: a welding tool(210,240) rotating in order to be friction-contacted with a bonding member; a rotating member(212,242) rotating with the welding tool and having gear teeth at the exterior; a support member(220) in which a rotating member is positioned at an inner through hole and a gear teeth engaging with the gear teeth of the rotating member is formed at the inner surface of the inner through hole; and a rotating shaft member(221) functioning as a rotary center shaft of the support member and being connected to support the rotating member.

    • A friction stir spot-welding equipment which can weld plural sheets to an accurate depth and improves bonding strength accordingly by measuring displacement of a frame of the spot-welding equipment, thereby constantly controlling an inserting depth of a welding pin is provided. A friction stir spot-welding equipment(100) comprises: a frame(102) having a support(116) mounted on a lower portion(104b) thereof such that sheets(160) to be welded are placed on the support; a rotation mechanism(108) of which an end is connected to an upper portion(104a) of the frame such that a welding pin(114) is mounted on the end of the rotation mechanism; a drive part(112) for rotating the rotation mechanism; a displacement measuring instrument for measuring displacement of the frame; and a transfer part(110) for correcting position of the rotation mechanism according to the displacement of the frame. The friction stir spot-welding equipment further comprises: a calculation part(140) for calculating a displacement measured in the displacement measuring instrument; a transfer control part(130) for controlling the transfer part according to displacement calculation of the calculation part; and a control part(150) for controlling the entire operation including welding operation.
