The road friction coefficient estimating device includes a reflectivity measurement unit which emits light to a road, receives the light reflected from the road, and measures the reflectivity of the light; and a road friction coefficient estimating unit which estimates a road friction coefficient using the reflectivity measured in the reflectivity measurement unit. The friction coefficient of the road can be estimated in real time when a vehicle is driven by the road friction coefficient estimating device, the driving control system using the same, and the control method thereof.

A power transmission apparatus for a vehicle comprises an engine(10), a clutch(20), a manual transmission(30), an automation device(40), and a shaft idling device(50). The engine has an output shaft(11). The output shaft is installed at one part of the clutch. The manual transmission has a transmission shaft(31) which is connected with the other part of the clutch. The automation device operates the clutch and the manual transmission. The shaft idling device is installed between the clutch and the transmission shaft to shift gears without operation of the clutch, when torque of the output shaft is relatively smaller than torque of the transmission shaft. The shaft idling device includes a connection shaft(51) and a one-way clutch(52). The connection shaft is installed at the other part of the clutch. The one-way clutch is installed between the connection shaft and the transmission shaft to idle the transmission shaft when torque of the output shaft is relatively smaller than that of the transmission shaft.
