    • PURPOSE: A frame fixator and a system for driving thereof are provided to supply a fixator with the function as an ordinary bone fracture and transformation treating instrument, which is possible to be applied unconcerned with the form of the bone fracture or transformation. CONSTITUTION: The frame fixator and the system for driving thereof include a motor(40), a motor driving instrument(50), a power instrument(60) and an LCD driving portion(70). The motor(40) moves a rod(34) inside an actuator(32). The first gear(42) is installed on the axis of the motor(40). The second gear(44) is formed on a side of the first gear(42) and is connected with a nut(36) and moves the rod(34). A guide member(46) is installed on an end portion of the rod(34). A potentiometer(48) is formed on a side of the guide member(46) and measures the length of the strut. The motor driving instrument(50) drives the motor(40) for controlling the length of the strut. The power instrument(60) supplies the electric power to the motor(40) and the motor driving instrument(50). The LCD driving portion(70) drives an LCD according to the control signal from the motor driving instrument(50).
