摘要： PURPOSE: A method for displaying an image of high definition in a mobile communication terminal, and a mobile communication terminal and an image format converting system therefor are provided to display an image of high definition at high speed without loss or damage of image data by segmenting the image into a plurality of blocks and storing the blocks with an index. CONSTITUTION: A radio transceiving unit(320) transmits and receives image data through a mobile communication network. An input unit(330) receives a command from a user. A display unit outputs an image. A memory(350) stores the image data. A format converter(360) converts the image data received from the radio transceiving unit into an image file format including image data by unit blocks and an index for accessing the image data by unit blocks. An image data processing unit(370) extracts the least image data by unit blocks configuring a partial image to be output to the display unit by scrolling from the image file stored on the memory by using the index information of the image file format.

摘要： 본 발명은 낮은 해상도의 디스플레이 수단을 갖는 이동 통신 단말기에서 고해상도의 화상을 디스플레이할 수 있도록 하는 방법과 이를 위한 이동 통신 단말기 및 화상 포맷 변환 시스템에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 이동 통신 단말기에서의 고해상도 화상 디스플레이 방법은, 화상 데이터를 다수의 단위 블록으로 분할하여, 다수의 단위 블록 별 화상 데이터와 상기 각 블록 별 화상 데이터로의 접근을 위한 인덱스를 포함하는 화상 파일 포맷으로 변환하는 단계와; 디스플레이부에 초기 출력할 부분 화상을 구성하는 최소한의 단위 블록 별 화상 데이터를 상기 화상 파일 포맷의 인덱스 정보를 이용하여 화상 파일로부터 추출하여 초기 화상을 출력하는 단계; 및 상기 화상의 디스플레이 중 스크롤 액션이 발생됨에 따라, 이동 방향에 따른 해당 단위 블록 별 화상 데이터를 화상 파일 포맷의 인덱스 정보를 이용하여 추출하여 위치 이동된 화상을 출력하는 단계;를 포함하여 이루어짐에 기술적 특징이 있다.
