    • PURPOSE: A method for displaying an image of high definition in a mobile communication terminal, and a mobile communication terminal and an image format converting system therefor are provided to display an image of high definition at high speed without loss or damage of image data by segmenting the image into a plurality of blocks and storing the blocks with an index. CONSTITUTION: A radio transceiving unit(320) transmits and receives image data through a mobile communication network. An input unit(330) receives a command from a user. A display unit outputs an image. A memory(350) stores the image data. An image data processing unit(370) extracts the least image data by unit blocks configuring a partial image to be output to the display unit by scrolling from the image file stored on the memory by using the index information of the image file format.

CONSTITUTION: If an inputted tag is not an end tag, it is confirmed whether the inputted tag is a showFrame tag used when converted into wireless data(s16). If the inputted tag is the showFrame tag, it is confirmed whether a corresponding frame is composed as only PlaceObject tags(s20). If the corresponding frame is composed as only the PlaceObject tags, a flash moving picture is registered in a "between frame list"(s22). If a frame is not deleted, a varying quantity to an active characteristic between successive frames is calculated, and the calculated varying quantity is applied to a frame deletion rule(s36). When the varying quantity is smaller than a reference varying quantity, a previous frame or a rear frame is deleted(s38). If the inputted tag is not showFrame tag, it is checked whether the inputted tag is a definition tag(s18). If the inputted tag is not the definition tag, the inputted tag is stored(s42). If the inputted tag is the definition tag, it is discriminated whether a tag is a tag unnecessary for transmitting the wireless data.
