    • A light emitting module (11) is provided with a mounting body (20), including a wiring board (21) whereupon wiring is arranged and a light emitting section (40) mounted on the wiring board (21); and a supporting body (30) for supporting the mounting body (20). The wiring board (21) stands from a base section (22) and one end section along the longitudinal direction of the base section (22) through a folding section (24), and has a standing section (23) to which the light emitting section (40) is to be attached. The standing section (23) is divided into a first side wall section (23a) to a seventh side wall section (23g) by slits (25a-25f) arranged at six areas, and a first light emitting section (40a) to a seventh light emitting section (40g) configuring the light emitting section (40) are mounted on the first side wall section (23a) to the seventh side wall section (23g), respectively. Thus, the light emitting device having a solid-state light emitting element is thinned.
