    • The present invention relates to a method for differentiating stem cells into retinal cells and, more specifically, to a method for inducing the differentiation of stem cells into retinal cells by inhibiting miRNA-203, a composition for inducing the differentiation of stem cells into retinal cells by including miRNA-203 as an inhibitor, a method for producing retinal cells by using the method, and a composition including retinal cells produced by the method to cure retinal degeneration-related diseases. The method for differentiating stem cells into retinal cells according to the present invention produces a large number of photoreceptor cells from stem cells in a short time and prevents or recovers retinal degeneration by engrafting and blending the differentiated photoreceptor cells in the degenerated or damaged retina in the process of transplantation so that the method may be used effectively for the treatment of cells. Moreover, in the present invention, novel genes and molecules involved in the process of retina differentiation are discovered so that lesions or pathogenesis mechanisms of retinal degeneration diseases caused by the genes and molecules can be investigated and that the genes and molecules can be effectively used to develop drugs for preventing retinal degeneration and protecting the retinal nerves.
