    • A conveyer for manufacturing a surface light source is provided to maintain flatness degree of a product by limiting bending of a small surface. A conveyer for manufacturing a surface light source includes a plurality of rollers(310). The rollers are formed of a bar shaped ceramic material. Elastic deformation of each of the rollers is less than or equal to 0.35 mm, roundness of the roller is less than or equal to ± 0.15 mm. An outer diameter of the roller is less than or equal to 50 mm. A pitch between the rollers is less than or equal to 70 mm. A surface flatness degree of the roller is ± 0.15 um. The rollers are formed by a ceramic material having a quartz.

A fluorescent panel(220) has a thickness of a micrometer, is directly attached to a planar light source and used as a fluorescent layer. The fluorescent panel is formed in a flat structure or in an uneven structure. The planar light source includes a light source body having a discharge space and a fluorescent layer formed on the inner face of the light source body. The fluorescent layer is formed in such a manner that fluorescent particles are pressed into a panel shape having a predetermined area.
