    • PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for interaction between a perceptive display unit and a portable terminal are provided to operate a portable terminal like a mouse and enable the connection of local communication. CONSTITUTION: An interaction code indicates the location of a mobile terminal, and a display unit(130) displays connection information codes and the interaction code. A code generation unit generates the interaction code and the connection information codes. A local area communication unit(140) receives the connection information from the mobile terminal to enable local area communication and receive and transmit data. A connection processing unit(116) displays the connection information codes on the display unit. An interaction unit(118) confirms the location of the interaction code when receiving the interaction code from a code detection unit(112), and outputs a pointer to a location of the display unit corresponding to the location of the interaction code.

    • A rendering device and a method thereof are provided to obtain a depth value from a depth buffer and perform a depth test by using the read depth value as consuming a minimum memory bandwidth. A rendering device comprises a depth buffer(110) and a rendering unit(120). In the depth buffer, blocks as pixels having each depth value are compressed and stored. In consideration of frequency information which is prepared in advance while showing the number of fixed value among the depth values of the block corresponding to a fragment, the rendering unit reads the block corresponding to the fragment from the depth buffer. The rendering unit restores the read block. The rendering unit performs a depth test for the fragment in consideration of the restored block.

    • A rendering apparatus and a rendering method are provided to perform one or more first raster works for checking the display possibility of fragments as pixels and thereafter to perform one or more third raster works for displaying the fragment as pixels. A scan conversion member(110) produces the plural fragments by every planes constructed by vertexes for forming graphing data for rendering. A checking member(120) performs at least one among the first raster works and the second raster works. A fragment processing member(130) performs at least one among the third raster works. A scissor test member(140) performs the scissor test relating to the inputted fragments. When the position of the pixel corresponding to the fragment exists in the previously designated area, the scissor test member outputs the inputted fragment to a position comparing member. When the position of the pixel corresponding to the fragment does not exist in the previously designated area, the scissor test member discards the inputted fragment.
