    • PURPOSE: A high efficiency charge pump is provided to improve the boosting efficiency and the power efficiency of the charge pump by reducing the on-resistance of a transferring transistor without a level shifter. CONSTITUTION: A first charge pumping unit(110) and a second charge pumping unit(120) differentially implements an initializing process and a boosting process in response to clocks(CLK, CLKB). Boosting units(112, 122) initialize the voltage of a boosting node into a first voltage or boost the voltage into a second voltage. Pumping capacitors(C1, C2) in connection with boosting nodes(116, 126) are located at one end of the boosting units. Transfer capacitors(MP1, MP3) transfers the second voltage of the boosting nodes to an output node.

    • PURPOSE: An internal power voltage generator reducing latch-up and a semiconductor device using the same are provided to generate successively an internal voltage, thereby reducing the possibility that the latch-up occurs. CONSTITUTION: An internal voltage generator(100) comprises a multi-stage voltage boosting circuit which acts successively in order to generate successively one or more internal voltages. A first voltage boosting circuit(110) generates a voltage(V1) which has a predetermined voltage level range by boosting a predetermined voltage. A second voltage boosting circuit(130) generates a third voltage by using a second voltage(V2) and the first voltage. One or more switches(CT1,CT2) control respectively the level of the first voltage or the third voltage.

    • A system for verifying the user's face by using light masks and a method therefor are provided to extract features of the whole face instead of extracting the features after dividing the whole face into blocks. A system(300) for verifying the user's face by using light masks comprises the followings: a facial feature extraction part(320) which extracts a face characteristic vector from an image of the user's face; an ordinary person GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model) configuration part(400) which generates an ordinary person GMM from face images of an ordinary person DB(Database); a user GMM configuration part(500) which applies the light mask to face images of the user database to generate a user GMM; a log-likelihood value calculating part(330) which inputs the face characteristic vector to the ordinary person GMM and user GMM to calculate a log-likelihood value; and a user verification part(340) which compares the calculated log-likelihood value with a predetermined critical value to verifies whether the face image is identical to the face of the user or not.
