CONSTITUTION: An LCD(100) includes an LCD panel(171), a back light unit(150), a reflecting plate, a bottom chassis(134), and a temperature controller(160). The LCD panel displays images using liquid crystal. The back light unit is located under the LCD panel to generate light. The reflecting plate is arranged under the back light unit to reflect the light generated by the back light unit to the LCD panel. The bottom chassis is composed of a bottom face and side walls vertically extended from the bottom face and houses the back light unit and the reflecting plate. The temperature controller is located on the bottom face and controls a temperature increase due to heat generated from the back light unit.
