    • A digital broadcasting receiving apparatus capable of performing quick channel conversion and a method therefor are provided to increase the convenience of a user by quickly converting a broadcasting channel while outputting digital broadcasting in a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) type broadcasting receiving apparatus. If a broadcasting channel of a certain broadcasting station is selected, a digital broadcasting receiving unit(110) receives digital broadcasting data according to at least one broadcasting channel which is serviced in a frequency band used by the broadcasting station. A demodulating unit(120) demodulates the received digital broadcasting data. An output unit having a display unit(170) and a speaker(180) outputs digital broadcasting data of the selected broadcasting channel among the demodulated digital broadcasting data according to broadcasting channels. A storing unit(160) stores digital broadcasting data according to broadcasting channels except for the selected broadcasting channel. If channel conversion for one channel is requested among the broadcasting channels serviced in the broadcasting station, a control unit(150) reads and outputs digital broadcasting data of the requested broadcasting channel among the digital broadcasting data stored in the storing unit(160). If the digital broadcasting data of the converted broadcasting channel are outputted, the control unit(150) controls the storing unit(160) to store the digital broadcasting data according to the broadcasting channels except for the converted broadcasting channel among the demodulated broadcasting data in the storing unit(160).

    • PURPOSE: A structure for installing a speaker phone of a portable wireless terminal is provided to embody the miniaturization of the portable wireless terminal by maintaining a size of the portable wireless terminal and expanding a display unit or a keypad unit to be convenient in use. CONSTITUTION: A speaker phone(10) is installed on a lower casing frame(112) of a body(110) so that a part of the speaker phone(10) is overlapped with an LCD module for expanding a receiving space of a keypad unit(115) and the LCD module. A receiving hole(22) is formed at a certain place of an upper casing frame(111), and a tube(11) having a uniform diameter is installed between the receiving hole(22) and the speaker phone(10) for transmitting a voice. A sponge(12) is installed in the receiving hole(22) for preventing that a dust flows in the body(110). A nonwoven fabric(13) is attached on a rear surface of the speaker phone(10) for maximally embodying a suitable receiving characteristic.

The RF unit(114) transmits and receives a radio signal to set up a radio communication with the handset fixing unit(100) and a portable unit(400) and decodes a transmitted and received signal. A communicating unit(124) performs the same function for setting up an office line call as that of a general phone set. A charging battery(126) supplies a power to the handset fixing unit(100). A modular jack(125) connects the communicating unit(124) and an external phone line and applies a charged power applied from the fixture fixing unit(200) to the charging battery(126). An external phone line(328) is connected to a curl cord(300) through the modular jack(226) and connected to the handset fixing unit(100). A power supply unit(210) receives power through an external adapter(428) and transmits it to a handset fixing unit(100) through the curl cord(300). A charging unit(212) charges the charging battery included in the handset fixing unit(100).
