    • The present invention relates to a touchscreen and a method of driving the same. The touchscreen includes: a switching unit having a plurality of switches connected to a driving line and a sensing line of the touchscreen respectively; a sensing unit to sense an electrostatic capacity or an electro magnetic resonance (EMR) in accordance to a switching operation of the switching unit; and a main control unit to control the switching operation of the switching unit in accordance to an operation mode of the touchscreen. Thus, the sensitivity of the touchscreen may be improved without enlarging a bezel of the touchscreen. In addition, by using the same wire structure, the EMR and the electrostatic capacity may be sensed and an antenna pattern may be formed to be operated as an antenna.

    • PURPOSE: A touch screen is provided to reduce an inactive area by forming an electrode on a second transparent substrate and a transparent electrode on a first electrode substrate. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(120) senses the change rate of a capacitance capacity by forming the transparent electrode on a first transparent substrate. An electrode(140) is formed on a second transparent substrate in order to supply power to the transparent electrode. A connection hole(150) connects the electrode with the transparent electrode by passing through the first transparent substrate. The transparent electrode includes the electrode, the connection hole, and a conductive polymer. A window plate(160) is formed at the one side of the first transparent substrate where the transparent electrode is formed.
