    • PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve brightness by arranging a fluorescent material layer in a discharge space between substrates and to reduce reflective brightness. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(3) and a second substrate(1) are arranged in order to be faced each other. A plurality of address electrodes is arranged at one side of the first substrate. A plurality of sign electrodes is arranged at one side of the second substrate to a direction crossing with the plurality of address electrodes. A red fluorescent material layer(8R), a green fluorescent material layer(8G), and a blue fluorescent material layer(8B) are arranged in a discharge space between the second substrate and the first substrate. The red, green, and blue fluorescent material layers comprise phosphor powder in which metal is coated.

    • PURPOSE: A transparent plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent damage of a transparent barrier rib by forming the transparent barrier rib with a SU-8 photoresist. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode is formed on an upper part of a transparent substrate. A transparent dielectric layer(460) is formed on an upper part of a front surface of the transparent substrate on which the transparent electrode is formed. A transparent barrier wall(440) is formed on an upper part of the transparent dielectric layer by using an SU-8 photoresist. A transparent protective layer(450) is formed on an upper part of the transparent barrier wall. The transparent protective layer is formed with an inorganic material.

    • PURPOSE: A transparent partition structure of a transparent plasma display panel is provided to improve the transmissivity of a partition since a partition structure having the highest transmissivity is selected among various partition structures. CONSTITUTION: A transparent partition(100a) is located between a front side transparent substrate(200) and a back side transparent substrate(300) which face each other. The transparent partition, the front side transparent substrate, and the back side transparent substrate are formed of a transparent glass. A transparent electrode layer(220) comprised of a bus electrode(223) and a transparent electrode(221) is formed on the front side transparent substrate. A protective layer(230) made of magnesium oxide is formed on the lower portion of the front side transparent dielectric layer(210).
