    • A scale removal system is provided to avoid effectively a problem that a scale is adhered to electrodes and a load. A scale removal system comprises: at least a pair of electrodes(12,13) which are submerged into water to be treated to treat electrochemically the water to be treated; and a scale recovery unit(5) installed on a downstream side of the electrodes, wherein the water to be treated passed through the scale recovery unit is divided into flows such that the one flow combined with the water to be treated is returned to an inlet side of the scale recovery unit, and the other flow is returned to an inlet side of the electrodes at the same time by combining the one flow with the water to be treated from the electrodes after supplying one flow to a load. The scale removal system further comprises a flow path(17) through which the water to be treated flows by bypassing the scale recovery unit. The scale removal system further comprises a hypochlorous acid dissolving unit(20) for dissolving hypochlorous acid in the water to be treated. The electrochemical treatment by the electrodes is performed in specified conditions, and the hypochlorous acid dissolving unit functions in a state that the electrochemical treatment is not performed at the same time.

    • An air sterilizer is provided to facilitate maintenance and to reduce the frequency of maintenance for collecting scales. An air sterilizer includes: a housing having an air intake and an air outlet; an electrolytic bath(4) which generates electrolyzed water; a vapor-liquid contact member(3) which is disposed within the housing; an electrolyzed water supply unit(71) which supplies the electrolyzed water to the vapor-liquid contact member; a fan which brings internal air sucked through the intake into contact with the electrolyzed water infiltrated into the vapor-liquid contact member to blow the sterilized air out of the outlet; a water-receiving part(8a) which accommodates the electrolyzed water passed through the vapor-liquid contact member. The electrolyzed water is supplied to the vapor-liquid contact member through the electrolyzed water supply unit from the electrolytic bath. A supply passage of the electrolyzed water is formed within the housing, wherein the electrolyzed water flows through the water-receiving part from the vapor-liquid contact member. A foreign matter removal mechanism(70b) for removing foreign matters contained in the electrolyzed water is installed on the electrolyzed water supply passage.
