摘要： PURPOSE: To maximize the probability of signal propagation through a tire sidewall by providing one or more detecting elements for detecting one or more technical states of a pneumatic tire, and providing a dipole antenna for electrically communicating with the detecting elements. CONSTITUTION: A monitor device (14) has a base board (30), and a pair of batteries (32), a central processing unit (34) and one or more detecting elements (36) are arranged on it. An antenna (12) electrically communicates with the detecting elements (36) so that information collected by the detecting elements (36) is transmitted outside a tire by the antenna (12). Parts (30, 32, 34, 36) are wholly sealed by a sealing material (38) so as to from the sealed monitor device (40). The sealing material (38) protects the parts (30, 32, 34, 36). The dipole antenna (12) includes a first antenna element (50) and a second antenna element (52) extending so as to separate from each other.
