    • PURPOSE: A vehicle management system which uses a tire pressure monitoring system and a method thereof are provided to display corresponding information on a vehicle access apparatus by transmitting vehicle condition information. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle management apparatus(200) receives tire condition information and data of an ODB(On-Board Diagnostics) 2 connector and wireless transmits the tire condition information and the data of the ODB 2 connector to a vehicle access control apparatus. The vehicle access control apparatus includes a first display window and a voice guide device. A TPMS(Tire Pressure Monitoring System) receiver(260) receives the tire condition information from a TPMS module. A TPMS transmission part(250) transmits vehicle condition information. A Bluetooth receiving part(240) receives the data of the ODB 2 connector. A controller(220) controls a vehicle condition information display process.

    • A method for transmitting signals from electronic housings mounted on vehicle wheels to a central unit mounted on the vehicle are provided to use band spectrum technology of single type and to prevent a decoding error on a control unit due to the collision between messages. A method for transmitting signals from electronic housings mounted on vehicle wheels(2~5) to a central unit mounted on the vehicle is as follows. A first common generic orthogonal spreading code is assigned to both the electronic housing(6~9) and the central unit. A second orthogonal spreading code specified for the electronic housing is assigned to the electronic housing. An initializing process is used, the initializing process which causes electrical transmission of spread signal by the electronic housings based on the first common generic orthogonal spreading code, including identification code of the electronic housings and the second specific orthogonal spreading code. A transmission process is used, the transmission process which causes electrical transmission of spread signal by the electronic housings based on the second specific orthogonal spreading code of the electronic housing.

    • In detecting which transmitter of several of transmitters has transmitted a radio signal based on digital data from an RF circuit (34), a main controller (35) of a receiver consecutively sends activation commands to each of several control circuits (10-13) such that only one of the control circuits (10-13) is activated at a time. The main controller (35) detects which of the antennas (5-8) corresponds to the control circuit (10-13) that was activated when the voltage level signal from the RF circuit (34) was lowest, and judges that the detected antenna (5-8) is closest to the transmitter that transmitted the radio wave. As a result, the power consumption is reduced, and the transmitter that transmitted the radio wave is accurately detected.
