摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for forming bellows which can form a material tube manufactured by a material such as a stainless steel plate into bellows at once using multiple upper dies and lower dies to improve speed, to reduce labor force, and to improve productivity, so as to manufacture high-quality bellows. The apparatus for forming bellows comprises a rotating shaft rotatably installed at an upper part of a frame; multiple lower dies installed at the rotating shaft at predetermined intervals to be horizontally movable; an idling shaft installed at an upper part of the rotating shaft to be freely rotatable about a lifting/lowering means; and multiple upper dies installed at the idling shaft at predetermined intervals to be vertically movable, wherein the material tube horizontally coupled to the lower dies in a longitudinal direction is formed into bellows by the horizontal movement of the upper dies and the lower dies from the left or the right towards the center caused by the lowering of the upper dies. The time required for manufacturing bellows is remarkably shortened, thereby improving productivity; and the thickness of material can be uniformly maintained, thereby being able to manufacture high-quality bellows.
