    • PURPOSE: A polysilicon manufacturing device for improving reaction gas flow by using a horizontal nozzle unit is provided to improve an evacuation rate of a powder by arranging a nozzle unit in a horizontal direction to allow reaction gas around a silicon core rod to have smooth upward drift. CONSTITUTION: A polysilicon manufacturing device for improving reaction gas flow by using a horizontal nozzle unit includes a bell-jar reactor(110), an electrode unit(120), a silicon core rod unit(130), a jacket unit(140), and a nozzle unit(160). The bell-jar reactor comprises a gas injection pipe(112) and a gas exhausting pipe(114), wherein reaction gas is provided to the gas injection pipe, and the gas exhausting pipe releases exhaust gas. A chamber(111) is formed in the bell-jar reactor. The electrode unit penetrates through a bottom board of the bell-jar reactor and protrudes toward inside of the chamber. The electrode unit includes a first electrode(122) and a second electrode(124) that are placed apart from each other. The silicon core rod unit connects the first electrode and the second electrode to supply a current induced in the first electrode to the second electrode. As the silicon core rod unit is heated, the reaction gas is thermally decomposed, and thus silicon is formed on a surface of the silicon core rod unit. The jacket unit is arranged to surround circumference of the silicon core rod unit to heat the silicon core rod unit. The nozzle unit is connected to the gas injection pipe to uniformly spray the reaction gas to a lower circumference of the silicon core rod unit. The jacket unit has a cylindrical shape with its top and bottom opened. A lower part of the jacket unit is separated from the bottom board of the reactor to improve the flow of the reaction gas.
