    • PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing zinc oxide nanowires and a method for enhancing an electron emission property are provided to obtain the zinc oxide nanowires which are used as an electron emitter of field emission and to efficiently and economically enhance the electron emission property by applying low DC voltage without to a device using the zinc oxide nanowires. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing zinc oxide nanowires having an enhanced field emission property includes a step of applying DC voltage to the zinc oxide nanowires which are formed on a substrate. The applied DC voltage is 700-1000 bolt(V) and the DC voltage is applied for 12-24 hours. A method for enhancing a field emission property of a device using the zinc oxide nanowires comprises the following steps: mounting the zinc oxide nanowires on the device; comprising an electronic circuit including an anode and a cathode using the zinc oxide nanowires as the cathode; and applying the DC voltage to the electronic circuit.
