    • PURPOSE: A tropical low pressure analyzing method and a system are provided to perform an accurate analysis about a step before and after the typhoon by giving a score to each single step with a numerical weather forecast model. CONSTITUTION: A tropical low pressure analyzing method comprises the following steps. Multiple evaluation components are produced from a numerical weather prediction model (21) according to a value index calculating unit (22). The score is given according to the multiple evaluation components with a grading unit (23). A total score is calculated by summing up the score with adding-up unit (24). The tropical low pressure analyzing method further includes the following step after the step of summing up the score with adding-up unit and calculating the total score. A typhoon generation index is produced with an index generating unit (25). The typhoon generation index is generated by dividing the total value with the sum of maximum values of each multiple evaluation components and converting into percent. The tropical low pressure analyzing method further includes the following step after the step of dividing the total value with the sum of maximum values of each multiple evaluation components and converting into percent. The typhoon generation index is classified with a classification unit (26) according to the development stage.
