CONSTITUTION: A magnetic bearing device has an electromagnet(11) for levitating an object(5) under electromagnetic forces, a displacement sensor(13) for detecting the displacement of the levitated object(5), a controller for supplying a signal to the displacement sensor(13) through a cable and a current to the electromagnet through a cable, and a protective plate of nonmagnetic metal material disposed between the displacement sensor(13) and the levitated object(5). The controller includes a levitation control system having a noise removing filter for preventing an abnormal signal caused by the protective plate from being applied to the displacement sensor.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a magnetically levitated system for detecting the temperature of an object of control and ensuring safety drive of the system without the need for special maintenance or requiring special structures or special manufacturing steps. CONSTITUTION: A magnetically levitated system includes a pair of mutually opposite electromagnets 11 and 13, a control object provided between the electromagnets 11 and 13, and positional dislocation detecting sensors 12 and 14 for detecting the positional dislocation of the control object. In addition, a temperature calculation circuit unit 30 is provided to detect the outer dimensions of the object, and the temperature of the control object is detected on the basis of the detected signal from the positional dislocation detecting sensors 12 and 14.
