    • PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle with a refrigerant cycle having a heating function is provided to prevent disturbance frequency of a compressor from increasing, prevent a shock and a noise due to disturbance of the compressor, and prevent frost on a glass of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Operating signals are inputted from switches of an air conditioner operating panel(S10). Detecting signals are inputted from sensors(S20). It is judged whether a hot gas switch of the air conditioner operating panel is turned on(S30). It is judged whether a suction mode set by an inner-outer air switch door is an outer air mode(S40). If not, the outer air mode is set up. When the suction mode is the outer air mode, a heating mode is started and executed by a hot gas heater cycle(S50). In the heating mode, a solenoid valve for heating is opened and a solenoid valve for cooling is closed.
