    • The present invention relates to a control system for a real-time 3D ultrasonic probe and a control method thereof, which can realize a real-time 3D dynamic image of the inside of an object to be inspected. The control system for a real-time 3D ultrasonic probe can realize a real-time 3D image using a piezoelectric element which generates ultrasonic waves, by comprising: an ultrasonic probe unit including multiple piezoelectric elements which are arranged in a matrix structure, multiple switches which activate the piezoelectric elements in a row unit, and multiple passive elements which are connected with piezoelectric elements arranged in a column unit in order to vertically cross the piezoelectric elements in a row unit and operate the piezoelectric elements; and a control unit which controls the switches and the passive elements respectively, and transmits and receives electric signals to and from the piezoelectric elements through the passive elements. In addition, the number of control signal wires connected with the ultrasonic probe unit for controlling the switches and the passive elements is smaller than the total number of the piezoelectric elements.
