    • A construction method for a drainage and low-noise composite road pavement having a water retentive base layer is provided to promote the noise reduction of a pavement with drainage capacity, and to secure environment-friendly effect of a pavement and to improve durability with water holding capacity by forming a composite pavement with a double structure having drainage capacity and water holding capacity on a surface layer and an intermediate layer or a base layer. A construction method for a drainage and low-noise composite road pavement having a water retentive base layer comprises the steps of: manufacturing a porous open-graded asphalt composition for a base layer or an intermediate layer to secure a porosity of 21~30% by using single-graded aggregates having the maximum size of 40mm, 25mm, 19mm or 13mm(1); paving and tamping the porous open-graded asphalt composition(2); manufacturing water retentive cement paste to have the maximum absorption rate of 60~80% and the 7-day compressive strength of 0.5~18N/mm^2 by mixing water retentive materials(3); forming a water retentive pavement layer to have negative stiffness with the 7-day flexural strength of 1.0~3.9N/mm^2 and water retention power with the maximum water holding capacity of 4.0~8.0l/m^2 for a pavement having a thickness of 5cm by filling up gaps in the open-graded asphalt composition with the water retentive cement paste and curing, or, mixing 70~80 weight percent single-graded aggregates having the maximum size and 20~30 weight percent water retentive cement paste at a fixed temperature and paving directly on a pavement surface, and then curing(4); manufacturing a permeable or drainage asphalt composition having a porosity of 15~25% for a surface layer by using single-graded aggregates having the maximum size of 19mm, 13mm, 10mm or 8mm which are smaller than the maximum size of the aggregates used for the water retentive pavement layer and high-durable and high viscosity modified asphalt(5); and forming a drainage pavement layer to have drainage capacity by paving and tamping the permeable or drainage asphalt composition, wherein the water retentive pavement layer is constructed to have a 0.5~1cm-gap which is not filled with cement paste from the surface of the pavement to strength adhesive strength between the drainage pavement layer and the water retentive pavement layer.
