    • PURPOSE: A method and a device for removing moisture from an insulator of a power transformer in an active wire are provided to improve the lifetime of the transformer by removing moisture with the convection of insulating oil. CONSTITUTION: Insulating oil is circulated through a circulation pipe. A filter container(9) comprises a filter which removes moisture from the insulating oil. A permanent magnet removes iron from the insulating oil without moisture. A vacuum pump(11) forms a vacuum state in the filter container. The gas of the filter container is discharged to the outside through an air vent line(12). An oil pump(8) forcedly inputs the insulating oil. A flow meter(13) measures the flow rate of the insulating oil. A thermometer measures the temperature of the insulating oil. A manometer measures the pressure of the insulating oil. A cooling device decreases the temperature of the insulating oil. A moisture measuring device(18) measures the moisture included in the insulating oil.

SF6 gas is collected in the main body of a SF6 gas reclaimer(16). The SF6 gas removes foreign substances and moisture with a filter(17) installed inside the main body of the SF6 gas reclaimer. The SF6 gas, which is collected by the compression of the inner main body of the SF6 gas reclaimer, is compressed and kept.
